The deaf and the hearing impaired have all the reasons to rejoice. Now there is hope for them to hear life and music and be part of the mainstream society.

The Rotary Club of Makati Cristo Rey in cooperation with the Fashion Artists Foundation is staging a St. Nicholas Catering Services Production entitled “RAMON FAVILA WEDDINGS ET AL “, a bridal fashion show for a cause slated on May 11, 2007 at 6PM. The Palacio De Maynila will serve as the event venue along Roxas Boulevard, Manila. The highlight of event are those bridal dresses in different concepts such as beach, garden and church wedding gowns. Selected professional ramp models and the bodyheat 2007 candidates will participate in this fashion show.

The show is meant to raise funds for the Rotary Club of Makati Cristo Rey’s signature project dubbed as DEAF PHILIPPINES, the implantation of kiddie recipients of Med-El Electronics, distributor of Cochlear Implants in the Philippines, to promote deaf awareness, deafness disability and eventually to uplift the quality of life of our deaf brethren. Your kind support to DEAF PHILIPPINES will help us to fulfill the hope that in the years to come, there will be more Helen Kellers in the country – living testimonies that deafness is not a burden but a chance to show the world that disability is never a hindrance to happiness and success.
